Oasis Enterprises recently completed a lighting installation for Al Hadath Newsroom in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, encompassing approximately 2,000 meters of LED strip lighting throughout the studio and the integration of 15 Rosco Braq Cube 4C fixtures within the broadcast control room to produce a dynamic, color-shifting backdrop.
Lighting a working newsroom carries technical demands distinct from most commercial installations. Color accuracy must remain consistent under broadcast camera conditions, not merely to the eye, which required careful attention to color temperature, brightness, and dimming performance throughout. We specified neutral white LED strips to meet this standard, ensuring the finished installation met the exacting requirements of a professional broadcast environment.
The control room presented a separate challenge with limited ceiling height constrained fixture options considerably. The Braq Cube 4C proved well suited to this constraint, a compact, track-mounted fixture that delivers both power and DMX control through a single rail system, eliminating the need for additional control cabling in an already confined space. Beyond resolving the spatial limitation, the fixture’s design contributed to a cleaner visual finish within the control room itself.
Rosco’s equipment was central to the project’s success. The reliability of its LED tape and Braq Cube 4C fixtures, in color accuracy, dimming behavior, and long-term performance was essential to achieving the lighting standard the newsroom required. The completed installation shows our continued focus on delivering technically rigorous solutions for demanding broadcast environments, and we remain committed to supporting Al Hadath Newsroom as its operations continue to grow.
