On June 3rd, we had the pleasure of hosting an exclusive corporate event in collaboration with our valued partners at Claypaky, held at the iconic Atelier Pier 7. The evening brought together a dynamic gathering of professionals from the lighting, production, and entertainment technology industries for a truly memorable experience.

The event served as both a product demonstration and a showcase of cutting-edge lighting solutions, reflecting the shared vision we hold with Claypaky for the future of innovation in our field. Attendees were treated to immersive displays, technical walkthroughs, and engaging presentations that highlighted the performance and precision behind Claypaky’s latest offerings.

We are delighted to share that Abdulla Al Shirawi, our Deputy CEO, was invited as the Chief Guest at the prestigious Eureka! GCC 2025 event, organized by Gulf Islamic Investments (GII) on May 28 in Dubai.

Eureka! GCC, Asia’s largest business model competition powered by IIT Bombay’s E-Cell, brought together visionary entrepreneurs, investors, and thought leaders from across the GCC to celebrate innovation and cross-border collaboration.

A Dynamic Evening of Innovation and Connection with ETC

On May 14th, 2025, we had the pleasure of hosting an exciting Demo event in collaboration with our partners at ETC, and it was nothing short of spectacular.

The event, held at ETC’s well-equipped studio in Media City, was designed to bring together professionals from across the lighting and entertainment industries and it delivered on every front.

The event started with an immersive demo session, where ETC showcased a variety of their cutting-edge lighting systems. The studio was set up to demonstrate the full capabilities of each piece of equipment in a controlled environment, giving attendees hands-on experience and a deep dive into the tech behind the scenes.

The engagement was palpable as attendees asked questions, tested systems, and shared insights, all within an environment that encouraged exploration and learning.

 

As the sun set, the energy carried over to Ren – Movenpick Hotel, where the networking session took place. It was a relaxed yet vibrant gathering of like-minded professionals from across the region, including some amazing guests who joined us all the way from Qatar.

Over light refreshments and great conversations, people from different corners of the industry designers, technicians, creatives, and decision-makers connected, exchanged ideas, and discussed the areas for future collaborations.

This event was more than a product demo, it was a celebration of innovation, community, and the shared passion that drives our industry forward. Whether you were there to see the technology in action or simply to enjoy great conversations with fellow professionals, it was a night to remember.

E-Waste Disposal Initiative

As part of our ongoing commitment to health, safety, and environmental responsibility and in alignment with our ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 certifications we have taken a proactive step toward sustainable waste management. We’ve designated a dedicated e-waste disposal area within our premises to safely collect and store electronic items, metals, batteries, wires, and other recyclable materials. In collaboration with E-Scrappy (Electronic Recyclers), a licensed waste disposal company, all collected materials are removed free of charge and disposed of in full compliance with UAE environmental laws and regulations. This initiative shows our dedication to creating a safer workplace and a cleaner planet for all.

Stepping into ISE 2025, the world’s leading AV and systems integration exhibition, was an exhilarating experience for Oasis Enterprises. As a company committed to delivering cutting-edge AV, lighting, and ELV solutions, we make it a priority to stay ahead of industry advancements. 

This year’s event was particularly exciting as we stood alongside ETC, one of our key partners, as they made their ISE debut. Seeing their innovative solutions take center stage was a proud moment, and we were there to fully support their journey. Building a Safer Workplace: The Vital Role of Earthquake and Fire Drills in Offices

Safety in the workplace is paramount, especially in fast-growing, dynamic regions like the UAE. Although the country is not known for frequent seismic activity, the risk remains significant enough to warrant thorough preparedness. Oasis Enterprises recently conducted a comprehensive twin drill exercise, addressing the critical scenarios of earthquakes and fire hazards in alignment with Dubai Municipality’s technical guidelines for emergency response.

While fire hazards remain a primary concern in UAE corporate offices due to the urban landscape, evolving infrastructure, and hot climate pose potential dangers. These twin hazards could lead to significant disruptions if they occur, making it essential for organizations to plan accordingly.

Planning for Potential Emergencies: The Scope of Oasis Enterprises’ Twin Drill

Led by Keneth Sah head of health and safety, the twin drills conducted at Oasis Enterprises were a vital exercise in ensuring employee preparedness. The drill covered several potential emergencies:

  • Earthquakes
  • Fires
  • Medical scenarios, including heart attacks, asthma attacks, burns, cuts/lacerations, and poison

The plan, meticulously crafted, addressed several crucial aspects:

  1. Practicality of the emergency response plan: Ensuring that the procedures should be effectively executed in real scenarios.
  2. Adequacy of communications: Assessing the communication and interaction between various teams and emergency responders during a crisis.
  3. Effectiveness of emergency equipment: Testing the readiness and operability of equipment like fire extinguishers and first aid kits.
  4. First aid and rescue procedures: Evaluating the ability of trained personnel to provide prompt assistance.
  5. Training of emergency personnel: Ensuring that designated individuals were well-versed in their roles and responsibilities.
  6. Public relations skills: Emphasizing the importance of communicating with external parties, such as local authorities or media, in the event of an emergency.
  7. Personnel count and evacuation evaluation: Making sure all employees were safely evacuated and accounted for.

Pre-Drill Preparation and Execution

The plan and drill scope were clearly communicated to all team members ahead of time, allowing them to familiarize themselves with the process and expectations. This preparation helped ensure that employees could respond quickly and efficiently during the actual drill, reducing potential confusion in a real emergency.

Oasis Enterprises took an extra step by sponsoring selected employees for first aid certification. These trained individuals were strategically positioned across different sections of the office to offer immediate assistance in case of injuries or health emergencies during a fire or earthquake. Prior to the drill, these first aid providers attended a briefing to align their objectives with the overall drill strategy, ensuring they were ready to act as first responders if necessary.

Continuous Improvement through Annual Drills

To maintain a high level of preparedness, Oasis Enterprises conducts full evacuation drills at least once a year. These drills are essential in ensuring that all personnel, as well as the response team members, remain familiar with the emergency procedures. The scheduling of drills, observations made during them, and any corrective actions are systematically recorded for future reference and improvement.

In conclusion, the twin drill at Oasis Enterprises reinforced the importance of being prepared for any emergency scenario. By conducting such exercises in line with local guidelines and regulations, the company not only protects its employees but also ensures business continuity in the face of unforeseen disasters. Preparedness, after all, is the best defense.

From 12–13 November, our team attended the Zoho CRM Workshop at Dusit Thani, Dubai. It provided valuable insights into the latest tools for automating and tracking marketing and sales processes, ensuring our team remains a leader in technological innovation.

Day 1: Setting the Foundation for CRM Excellence

The first day of the workshop focused on building a strong foundation for CRM systems. It began with an in-depth session on Configure and Customize: CRM Essentials, which detailed how organizations can align CRM functionalities with their unique goals and operational demands. The session highlighted the importance of tailoring configurations to achieve optimal performance.

Next, CRM Unmanned: Breaking Down Automation explored automation features within Zoho CRM, shedding light on tools that minimize manual tasks. These solutions ensure marketing and sales teams can focus on strategic decision-making rather than repetitive administrative duties.

The session on Key to Business Pipeline Management highlighted methods for optimizing sales pipelines to maximize efficiency, track progress, and convert leads into opportunities seamlessly. This was complemented by Connecting the Front and Back Offices: Democratizing the CRM, a segment that demonstrated the value of integrating CRM systems across departments. This integration fosters a unified approach to customer relationship management, enhancing both internal operations and customer-facing processes.

Day 2: Customization, Innovation, and Integration

The second day delved into advanced customization and innovation strategies. The session titled Tailoring Your CRM: Truly Making It Your Own provided insights into how organizations can adapt CRM systems to reflect their brand identity and specific challenges. This personalization ensures that the system becomes an indispensable tool for achieving business objectives.

In Elevating Customer Support, participants explored how CRM features can be leveraged to enhance customer service. The session covered the importance of timely responses, efficient ticket resolution, and fostering customer satisfaction through streamlined processes. Expanding Horizons: Extensibility, API, and More introduced advanced capabilities such as integrating APIs to extend the CRM’s functionality. These tools enable businesses to connect their CRM systems with other applications, creating a more robust and interconnected digital ecosystem.

Numbers That Matter: Reporting Your Success emphasized the importance of analytics and reporting features within the CRM, detailing how to generate insights from data to measure performance, monitor key metrics, and identify growth opportunities to stay ahead of the curve. Building on this, Instant Messaging & AI showcased how these technologies can be seamlessly integrated into CRM systems to enable real-time communication and automate responses, significantly enhancing customer engagement and streamlining interactions. The final session, Bringing It All Together, provided a comprehensive view of combining automation, customization, and integration to create a cohesive CRM strategy, ensuring that every aspect of the system works together to improve efficiency and deliver superior customer experiences
